/In The Midst of It All - Inner Ear(th) SonicActs Biennial 2022

Commissioned by SonicActs for their Biennial festival in Octobr 7, 8 and 9th. This was a curated soundwalk which took approximately 50 minutes and I took the participants inbetween the industrious erea of Hemburg and the Noordzeekannal. On to the busy bridge and into the Vijfhoekpark.
The walk was inspired by readings and meditations from Alexis Pauline Gumbs and Pauline Oliveros and lessons learnt from the listening cultures of Indigenous peoples, especially that of the Blackfoot peoples of Montana, US.
At certain points of this walk were stops and here I would recite poems I wrote in relation to the objects in the surrounding.
